Position Overview

The IT and OT Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the integration, security, and performance of both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments. This individual ensures the seamless operation of critical systems, promotes operational efficiency, and aligns technology initiatives with overarching organizational goals.

Priority Status: This is a high-priority vacancy that requires an immediate and strategic hire to lead the organization's technical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Leads and manages IT and OT teams with a focus on optimizing system performance across the organization.
• System Integration: Oversees the integration of IT and OT systems to ensure maximum reliability, security, and functional efficiency.
• Infrastructure Management: Directs hardware infrastructure, database management, server/OS administration, and network architecture.
• Modernization & Automation: Drives a clear vision for infrastructure modernization by actively incorporating scripting and automation into management practices.
• Cybersecurity & Compliance: Directs initiatives to protect IT and OT infrastructures, specifically focusing on Windows security and compliance standards.
• Cloud & Containerization: Manages resources within cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and oversees Linux systems , Kubernetes (K8s) , and the containerization of applications .
• Deployment & Support: Manages desktop and mobile deployment strategies and ongoing support functions.

Required Qualifications

• Industry Experience: Direct experience within a Manufacturing environment is mandatory.
• Leadership: 3-5 years of proven experience managing teams (direct reports).
• Technical Vision: A strong understanding of Industry 4.0 principles and the ability to apply them to operational workflows.
• ERP Expertise: Previous experience with ERP systems is required ( JD Edwards experience is highly preferred ).
• Infrastructure Depth: Extensive experience with hardware, network configuration, and server administration.
• Modern Tech Stack: Hands-on experience with Linux, Kubernetes (K8s) , and managing Cloud-based environments .
• Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).

Technical Profile & Skills

While the candidate does not need to be a hyperscale DevOps engineer or a heavy coder, they must demonstrate a forward-thinking approach to infrastructure.
