Fabricator / Welder

We're looking for a skilled fabricator/welder to join our manufacturing team. You'll build custom bulk material handling equipment — dust collectors, conveyors, hoppers, valves, and complete systems — from raw steel to finished product. Every project is different and built to order, so you'll work on a wide variety of assemblies across dozens of industries. What You'll Do Lay out, fit, and fabricate structural and sheet metal components from engineering drawings MIG, TIG, and laser welding on mild steel and stainless steel Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols Operate plasma and laser cutters, CNC press brake, forming equipment, saws, grinders, drill press, and other shop equipment Assemble and fit sub-assemblies and final equipment Maintain quality standards and dimensional tolerances Work with the engineering team to resolve fit-up and fabrication questions What We're Looking For Prior experience in metal fabrication and/or welding (2+ years preferred) Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and shop prints Proficiency with MIG welding; TIG and laser welding experience is a plus Experience with layout, fitting, and assembly of steel structures Comfortable operating plasma/laser cutters, CNC press brake, forming equipment, and standard shop tools Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Welding certifications are a plus but not required What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Hands-on work building custom equipment — no two projects are the same Small team environment where your work has a direct impact Growth opportunity with a company that's scaling up Orchard Park, NY location — easy commute, no city traffic #J-18808-Ljbffr Zephyr Equipment, LLC
