Job Summary:
Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing, in accordance with departmental and hospital policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice.

Unit Notes:

• 4 LDRP rooms and 5 nursery/postpartum beds
• Nurse-to-patient ratios follow national standards, based on labor type and patient needs
• No floating to other units/departments

Requirements

• 2+ years of recent LDRP experience – Required
• Active AK RN license required

Required Certifications:

• Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• STABLE
