About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years recent LDRP experience License: Active state RN license Certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE, Advanced Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: - Active state RN license - HS AED certification - BLS certification - NRP certification - STABLE certification - Minimum 2 years recent LDRP experience Description: Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care. Utilize the nursing process and principles of primary nursing. Adhere to departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Follow standards of nursing practice. Use equipment such as Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis Supply Stations. Operate bedside fetal monitors. Participate in a 3-day training for Meditech and OBIX. Complete medication testing within the first two weeks on site. Maintain nurse to patient ratios based on type of labor and patient needs. Wear provided scrubs during shifts.
