Job Skills / Requirements Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas toidentifypotential security risks or hazards Deter, detect, and respond to security threats or incidents professionally and appropriately Control access points andmonitorpremises to prevent unauthorized entry Provide emergency response including de-escalation, detainment support, or coordination with law enforcement whenrequired Maintainaccurateincident reports and documentation Interact with the public in a professional and respectful manner while enforcing site rules Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed Qualifications and Requirements: Experience:Prior experience in Military Police, law enforcement, corrections, or comparable armed security rolerequired Licensing:Valid armed guard license where required by state law Legal authorization to carry andoperatea firearmin accordance withapplicable regulations Regulatory Compliance:Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local security and firearm regulations Schedule Flexibility:Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Post-Offer Employment Requirements Employment offers for this position are contingent upon successful completion of all post-offer requirements applicable to this safety-sensitive role. Preferred Qualifications: Active or recent federal security clearance Prior experience protecting federal or critical infrastructure sites Training in conflict resolution, crisis response, or security management Preferred Skills: Strong situational awareness and attention to detail Effective verbal communication and de-escalation skills Professional judgment and emotional composure in high-pressure situations Ability to document incidents clearly and accurately Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods Ability to respond to incidents that may require physical engagement Ability to lift or move objects up to 50lbsas needed This position plays a critical role in ensuring a safe and secure environment for our clients.
