Job Title: Registered Nurse ER Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ER Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00); Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active New York Single State RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: EPIC charting experience required Must be available to float within skillset Description: Registered Nurse ER (Adult) needed for a dynamic emergency department. The shift includes a rotation of night and day schedules. Candidates must have experience with EPIC charting. Every other holiday work is required, if needed. Weekend work is required every other weekend. Candidates must have strong clinical skills in emergency care. Essential skills include IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and emergency management. Candidates should be experienced in managing adult and pediatric emergencies. The patient ratio is typically 1:5 for adults and geriatrics. Floating may be required within the skillset. The environment supports a range of emergency diagnoses. The department is equipped with advanced technology for patient care. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced setting. Interdisciplinary support is available for comprehensive patient care. All candidates must meet the licensing and certification requirements before consideration.
