Sales Support Specialist

A pharmaceutical company is adding a Sales Support Specialist to support its field sales team and Chief Commercial Officer. This is the role the sales organization leans on daily — order flow, CRM accuracy, and cross-functional problem solving. Fully remote.
About the Role
Fully remote, but must live in the US Eastern time zone (no exceptions)
Responsibilities
- Manage system access and maintain customer and order data across CRM and related platforms
- Process orders, submit customer approvals, and resolve shipping discrepancies
- Partner with Production, Accounts Receivable, and Pharmacy to resolve inquiries quickly
- Coordinate logistics for sales events and tradeshows
- Route lead and customer inquiries to the right teams
- Keep sales support tools current
- Build reports, presentations, and documentation for the sales team
- Support the management team on administrative work and special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, sales, or a related field
- Required Skills
- Track record supporting sales teams and management in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication — able to make complex information clear
- Excellent organization and prioritization across competing deadlines
- Proactive problem solver who takes initiative without being asked
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems
