CNC MachinistJob Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) . The ideal candidate will have a strong in CNC machine operation, part inspection, tooling, and machine setup. This position plays a critical role in producing high-quality precision components while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.

• Operate and set up CNC machines to meet production requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Perform quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Select, install, and maintain tooling for machining operations.
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure equipment remains in good working condition.
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Minimum 3 years of CNC machining or CNC operation experience .
• Strong knowledge of CNC machine setup and tooling.
• Ability to inspect precision parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical prints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.

• Experience operating and setting up Hydromat machines highly preferred.
• Experience with Davenport machines or similar equipment is transferable.
• Experience with milling and/or lathe operations is a plus.
• Willingness to learn additional machining processes and equipment.

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials as required.
• Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.

• Mid-sized manufacturing shop with approximately 18 machines.

This is a Permanent position based out of Webster, MA.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $79040.00/yr.
