CNC MachinistFives Gidding and Lewis // Fond du Lac, WisconsinJoin Our Team!Fives Gidding & Lewis is actively seeking CNC Machinists to join our team in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.Position SummaryPerforms a wide range of duties to set up, adjust and operate a CNC machine. Machine surfaces to close tolerances involving combinations of operations such as milling, turning, boring, recessing, drilling, tapping, etc. This requires skill, judgment and knowledge related to precision machining techniques and finishes. Familiarity with CNC machine tool operational procedures as well as knowledge of GD&T and the ability to read blueprints.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will:Set up and run CNC machine through operation sequences to check setup, set tools, tooling operational sequences, clearances, speeds, feeds, etc., and adjust machine to correct.Work from drawings and setup instructions to load, position, align and secure workpiece in machine.Observe operation while machining and edit work & tooling offsets as needed.Study and work from part drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece.
