Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification
Proven experience in case management for elementary-aged students
Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
Proficiency using evaluation and progress data to guide instruction
Knowledge of NHSEIS and special education compliance
Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
Effective communication and collaboration abilities with families and multidisciplinary teams

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver direct instruction tailored to meet IEP goals for 2nd and 3rd graders
Monitor and document student progress regularly
Develop, review, and update IEPs using assessment and progress data
Ensure compliance with special education regulations through accurate record maintenance
Support and supervise instructional staff for effective program delivery
Oversee implementation of accommodations and modifications to meet student needs
Maintain consistent communication with families, classroom teachers, therapists, counselors, and community agencies
Implement procedural safeguards and district policies
Complete assigned building-level responsibilities as directed by administration
