This position partners with Corporate Security leadership, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.The Project Manager I assists with managing project timelines, documenting requirements, tracking milestones, coordinating resources, and communicating project status to stakeholders. This role supports process improvement initiatives, helps identify operational efficiencies, and contributes to the successful implementation of tools, technologies, and programs that enhance Corporate Security operations.In addition to project execution, the Project Manager I supports data-driven decision-making by gathering business requirements, analyzing trends, maintaining project documentation, and monitoring project performance. The position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills and works under moderate supervision while developing project management expertise.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesSupport the planning and execution of Corporate Security projects and initiatives.Coordinate project activities between business partners, security teams, and technology teams.Develop and maintain project schedules, status reports, and project documentation.Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, and action items.Facilitate project meetings and document key decisions and next steps.Support process improvement efforts to enhance operational effectiveness.Prepare project updates and presentations for leadership.Assist with gathering and documenting business requirements.Monitor project performance and help identify opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related fieldOr equivalent work experienceBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)Strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneouslyStrong verbal and written communication skillsComfortable presenting updates and collaborating with leadership and business partnersPreferred QualificationsProject management experience in Corporate Security, Operations, Risk Management, or related fieldsFamiliarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, or Monday.comExperience developing dashboards or reporting using Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar toolsKnowledge of process improvement methodologiesBasic SQL and data analysis skillsCAPM certification or pursuit of PMP certificationExperience coordinating cross-functional projects and managing stakeholder expectationsOther Criteria:This job is a grade 20E.Hours of Operation are subject to change: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST.Position is located in Atlanta, GA.Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to self-relocate.No relocation assistance offered.Employer will not sponsor visas for position.Last day to apply for internal applicants is 11:59 PM EST on 09/22/2026.Employee Type: PermanentUPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.UPS is an equal opportunity employer.
