Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control programs to reduce the risk of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
• Conduct surveillance, data collection, and analysis of infection trends within the healthcare facility.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and The Joint Commission (TJC).
• Investigate outbreaks, identify sources of infection, and implement corrective actions to prevent further transmission.

Qualifications:

• MA Registered Nurse license
• BLS required
• CIC or CBIC certification preferred

• Pay: $2,052.96 - $2,116.45 / week
• Location: Holyoke, MA
• Assignment Length: 13
• Shift: Day 5x8 - up to 40.00 hours per week
• Setting: Hospital
