Registered Nurse, Med/Surg, 2nd Floor

Position Overview The staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the therapeutic environments, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration. Responsibilities The RN shall, for each patient, collaborate in the formulation of the overall plan of care, as evidenced by written documentation. Must identify needs and problems specific to biophysical, cognitive, developmental, emotional, socio‑cultural, and spiritual domains. Must demonstrate accountability for ongoing awareness of the status of assigned patients and collect and document appropriate data. Qualifications Current California RN License. Current Basic Life Support (Healthcare Provider) certification. Current ACLS. Dysrhythmia certification. Current NIHSS certification or within 90 days of employment. #J-18808-Ljbffr AHMC HealthCare
