Express Employment Professionals' Specialized Recruiting Group has partnered with a respected recycling company in the Greenwood, IN area that is seeking a Maintenance Inventory Coordinator to support the daily operations of the maintenance department through inventory management, purchasing, and recordkeeping. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, working with inventory and data, and helping keep maintenance operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.
Job Summary
The Maintenance Inventory Coordinator supports the maintenance team by managing inventory, purchasing parts and supplies, maintaining records, and updating information in the company's maintenance system. This role helps ensure the right parts and materials are available when needed and that inventory and purchasing records stay accurate and organized.
Responsibilities
- Create, process, track, and follow up on purchase orders for maintenance parts, supplies, and services.
- Work with vendors and internal teams to make sure materials and services arrive on time.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and help manage MRO inventory.
- Receive, verify, and issue maintenance parts and supplies.
- Enter and update purchasing, inventory, and maintenance information in the CMMS.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure inventory records are accurate.
- Help develop and maintain inventory control processes and procedures.
- Review purchasing and receiving documents for accuracy.
- Prepare inventory, purchasing, and maintenance reports as needed.
- Identify inventory discrepancies and help correct recordkeeping errors.
- Support data accuracy and operational performance goals.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in inventory control, purchasing, warehouse operations, maintenance support, or a related industrial environment.
- Experience using a CMMS, ERP system, or inventory management software.
- Experience creating purchase orders and maintaining inventory records.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience conducting inventory counts and audits.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with MRO inventory is preferred.
- Knowledge of maintenance parts and supplies is a plus.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, day shift (overtime may be available)
