Registered Nurse (RN): Emergency NursingAn exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care to patients across all age groups in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekend Hours: Required every other weekend and some holidaysNumber of Beds: 21 (including telemetry beds and behavior health beds)Patient Ratios: 1:5Equipment: Emergency equipmentEHR: CernerPatient Population: All agesRequired Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, de-escalation training (HWC, CPI or MAB), PALSYears of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in emergency nursingMust Have Skills: Emergency nursing experienceTrauma and resuscitation skillsIV management, including IV dripsOxygen demand supportAdministration of blood productsBasic telemetry and EKG interpretationPreferred Skills: Experience in Emergency Medicine and Psychiatric Emergency care beneficialCOPDDKASepsisCardiac EmergenciesNeurological Emergencies and StrokeThe ideal candidate is a fast-paced, multi-tasking team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required.Scrubs of any color are acceptable.
