Registered Nurse (RN): Emergency Nursing

An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care to patients across all age groups in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekend Hours: Required every other weekend and some holidays

• Number of Beds: 21 (including telemetry beds and behavior health beds)
• Patient Ratios: 1:5
• Equipment: Emergency equipment
• EHR: Cerner
• Patient Population: All ages

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, de-escalation training (HWC, CPI or MAB), PALS
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in emergency nursing
• Must Have Skills:
  • Emergency nursing experience
  • Trauma and resuscitation skills
  • IV management, including IV drips
  • Oxygen demand support
  • Administration of blood products
  • Basic telemetry and EKG interpretation
• Preferred Skills: Experience in Emergency Medicine and Psychiatric Emergency care beneficial

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required.

Scrubs of any color are acceptable. Open-toed footwear, spandex pants, and sweatshirts are not permitted.
