Cost Accountant | Manufacturing Boston (MetroWest) 60K-$80K (Fully Onsite) Cost Accountant | Manufacturing Boston (MetroWest) 60K-$80K (Fully Onsite) A growing U.S.-based manufacturing company looking to add a Cost Accountant to its finance team. This is a hands-on role with significant exposure to manufacturing operations and an opportunity to work closely with Finance, Operations, and Production on costing, inventory, margins, and profitability. What You'll Do Perform cost and margin analysis across material, labor, and overhead Analyze standard vs. actual costs and investigate manufacturing variances Support customer pricing reviews and profitability analysis Manage inventory valuation and ensure accurate inventory accounting Analyze obsolete and slow-moving inventory and recommend appropriate reserves Support month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations Prepare cost and operational reporting for management Help improve costing methodologies, inventory controls, and accounting processes Support internal and external audits What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3-5 years of manufacturing accounting experience Cost accounting experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, and GAAP Strong Excel and ERP system skills Analytical, hands-on approach with the ability to partner effectively with operations The Opportunity Stable, established U.S. manufacturer Multi-site manufacturing environment Broad exposure to cost accounting and plant operations If interested and seeking more information, please send a Word Doc version resume to Joe McConnell - View email address on click.appcast.io
