Temporary Worker - PAC Worker

Job Title

Assist other district employees with a variety of physical and mental demanding tasks. Provide excellent customer service.

Reports To: Various Supervisors

Duty Days: Varied

Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt

Pay Grade: Temporary Worker

Pay Rate: $12.00/per hour

Qualifications:

• Minimum Age Requirement: 15 years old
• Ability to follow instructions (written or oral)
• Ability to comprehend English (verbal and written)
• Work collaboratively with others
• Demonstrate decision making and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, accountable, and dependable for the job task
• Safety conscious and have a conviction for any safety concerns
• Ability to maintain emotional stability

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Performs general labor duties.
2. Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
3. Perform physically demanding tasks for an extended period of time.
4. Work in non-air-conditioned environment.
5. Participate in-service trainings offered by Katy ISD.

Equipment Used:

Personal computer, hand tools, ladder, hand truck, dolly, and pallet jack

Working Conditions:

Work outside and inside. Exposure to extreme temperatures, humid conditions, dust, fumes, chemicals, odors, loud noises, and slippery or uneven surfaces. Continual walking and standing, frequent heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Work around moving objects and vehicles.
