Starting Pay: $21.00/HOUR This Position is NIGHT Shift: 645PM-7AM on a 2-2-3 schedule Schedule: WORK MON/TUE, OFF WED/THUR, WORK FRI/SAT/SUN OFF MON/TUE, WORK WED/THUR, OFF FRI/SAT/SUN, REPEAT Only Work 15 days a month!!!! Every Other Weekend is a 3 DAY WEEKEND!!!! One week you work 48 hours and the next week you work 36 hours Total of 84 hours for a pay period (76 regular hours & 8 hours of overtime) Paid Bi-Weekly We are growing fast, you can too! We are seeking an Assembly Technician to join our North Salt Lake, Utah location! NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, WE WILL TRAIN YOU! As an assembly technician you will be responsible for building reels to keep the extrusion lines supplied. What We Offer: Benefits offered on the FIRST DAY OF HIRE!! Tuition Reimbursement* What you will be doing: Reviews the production schedule and determines the reels required to maintain production on the shift. Paints and stencils any returned wood reels that do not meet appearance requirements. Reels must be painted and stenciled before they can be used on the extrusion lines. Builds/Assembles any reels not available from the return reel inventory required to maintain production. Maintains a neat and orderly work area. Follows all safety requirements for the position and all company safety guidelines. Completes appropriate paperwork to ensure accurate inventory transactions. Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor. What you need to be successful: Ability to speak, read and write English, fluently. Bilingual a Plus! Basic math and measurement skills required. Forklift certification.(Preferred but not required) Good attendance at your past jobs Ability to lift 50 Ibs. with or without reasonable assistance. Ability to climb ladders and work at various heights. Ability to lift objects overhead. Ability to move from one area to another by stepping over and/or bending under objects. Manufacturing floor environment May include outside conditions
