RN Field Case Manager

RN Field Case Manager – Grand Rapids, MI We are seeking a registered nurse with at least 1.5 years of Field Case Manager workers compensation experience. Candidates must reside in the Grand Rapids, MI area. Primary Purpose of the Role Field Case Managers work face-to-face with injured workers and medical providers to facilitate advocacy, progressive medical treatment, and timely return-to-work. You will act as a liaison and provide communication between all involved parties. Frequent travel is required, while maintaining a home-based office. Are You an Ideal Candidate? Key Responsibilities Apply medical/clinical or rehabilitation knowledge to manage complex medical conditions, treatment planning, and recovery. Engage in face-to-face interaction with injured workers and medical professionals. Advocate for effective and efficient medical treatment in a non-traditional setting. Support injured employees from leading brands in alignment with Caring Counts® mission. Maintain flexibility and autonomy in daily work and career path. Participate in professional development, continuing education, and team building initiatives. Maintain optimal use of resources for client and reimbursement source. Assist workers in recovering autonomy through advocacy, education, identifying resources, and service facilitation. Identify and connect appropriate providers and facilities across continuum of services, ensuring timely and cost-effective use of available resources. Education & Licensing RN licensure required.
