Electrical Engineer

HART Technologies, Inc., an AS9100D certified design and build company, is looking for talented engineers to work as members of a motivated development team performing design, build and integration of real-time tactical systems.If you like to build things, you'll love working for us.Overview We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to support an engineering services contract in Dahlgren, VA.Candidates who are mission-oriented and enjoy a fast-paced team environment are encouraged to apply.Responsibilities Assist senior personnel with the mission essential testing of shipboard electronic components.Execute tests using test equipment such as Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Signal Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Function Generators, Power Supplies, and custom test setups.Collect and analyze test data/results, document results, and write reports. Provide analysis of results to Engineering and R&D team members.Support the design packaging line layouts, Equipment P&ID's, and packaging Component Data.Analyze equipment failures and provide solutions and recommendations on areas of improvement.Execute technical judgement and decision making.Utilize critical thinking in support of both land base and shipboard test events.Maintain multiple different types of custom test equipment.Create observation reports, test reports, trip summaries and other associated mission related documentation.Required Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.0-5 years of experience.Experience to include data analysis, test setup / execution, documentation of test events.Ability to travel 50% - 60%.Ability to work in a shipboard environment.US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.Experience working aboard naval vessels or in DOD related programs.Demonstrated proficiency in test and evaluation of DoD equipment.Knowledge of Radar Interface and general RF theory.Active secret level DoD security clearance.Competitive annual salary plus paid time off, matching 401K, along with Medical, Dental and LT/ST Disability insurance.
