Job Duties

Support the productive, efficient, and cost-effective management of programs and services which support and enhance field operations to achieve the Department's goals, mission, and vision. Provide administrative support to supervisor resulting in timely completion of work. Represent supervisor in his/her absence. Process purchase requests and manage DOC term contracts. Maintain file systems for reliable retrieval of procurement documents. Enter requisitions, emergency declarations, and solicitations into eVA. Process receiving in eVA. Assist with the Bidding process.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience providing administrative support. Experience processing purchase requests. Data entry experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Ability to use spreadsheets, email and eVA. A working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite is required. Ability to maintain, organize and retrieve documents both electronic and hard copy. High school diploma or equivalent Valid VA driver's license. Successful background check

Additional Considerations

Knowledge of the Virginia Public Procurement Act (VPPA), the Conflict-of-Interest Act (COI), the Construction and Professional Services Manual (CPSM), and Agency Procurement and Surplus Property Manual (APSPM). eVA VCA and/or VCCO certification
