Job ProfileSub-Family DefinitionCredit Risk Management is responsible for managing and mitigating credit risk within an organization. Activities may include:Assessing the creditworthiness of potential borrowersMonitoring existing credit exposures to identify potential risksDeveloping and implementing credit risk policies and proceduresConducting stress testing and scenario analysisAnalyzing financial data to evaluate borrower risk profilesCollaborating with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to credit risk managementCareer Specialization DefinitionCentralized Commercial Credit is responsible for supporting commercial credit activities through centralized underwriting, analysis, approval, documentation, and portfolio support processes. Activities may include credit evaluation, risk assessment, policy compliance, and portfolio monitoring. Other duties as assigned.Career Level DefinitionRecognized subject matter expert in a job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities typically include:Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager.Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower level professionals.Problems faced are difficult and often complex.Position AccountabilitiesReviews complex business loan requests and performs independent credit analysis, including assessment of borrower financial condition, management, operations, loan structure, and overall credit risk.Applies sound judgment to evaluate risk, structure credit solutions, and recommend, approve, or decline credit requests in accordance with established lending authority, credit policy, and business needs.Manages an assigned portfolio through ongoing monitoring, risk rating, portfolio analysis, client credit solution development, and remediation of emerging credit concerns to maintain portfolio quality.Partners with Relationship Managers, sales teams, and credit leadership to support business objectives, resolve complex credit matters, and ensure timely completion of loan requests and portfolio management activities.Provides subject matter expertise, guidance, and review support to less experienced credit professionals, including credit evaluations, loan decisions, and approval concurrence as appropriate.Maintains compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and required training while staying current on regulatory and credit-related developments.Knowledge & ExperienceBachelor's Degree required; equivalent combination of education and experience may be consideredTypically requires 6 - 8+ years prior experience, with deep knowledge of job areaJob Code: RMCCCP4FLSA Status: ExemptSalary Grade: 118We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
