Travel RN - ICU
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring 2+ years of experience, ACLS/BLS certification, and Epic charting experience.
Work in the ICU of a hospital environment
Day shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM)
Every other weekend (EOW) required
Floating as needed, potentially to Med Surg
No on-call requirements
May care for COVID patients
Active RN license (Standard or Compact); PA license required
Current certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA or ARC only)
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
Epic charting experience required
Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, IV therapy, arterial and central line care/management
Experience titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips
Respiratory/thoracic skills including BiPAP/CPAP management and care of ventilated patients
Suctioning experience (ETT, NT)
Knowledgeable in isolation precautions and PPE use
Previous charge experience preferred
Provide direct ICU nursing care including cardiac monitoring and emergency response
Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
Holiday coverage required (2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day)
Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius for travel pay rate eligibility; local candidates may be considered at a lower rate
