Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Summary: Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit, ensuring adherence to established standards of practice. Supervises nursing staff and collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care. Responsibilities: Assess patient data and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and health maintenance. Implement nursing interventions, monitor patient status, and modify care plans as needed. Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring proper workflow and compliance with policies. Collaborate with physicians, families, and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care. Educate patients and their families about health management, medication, and discharge instructions. Participate in discharge planning and ensure continuity of care post-visit. Qualifications: Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Minimum two years recent experience in a telemetry or acute care setting. Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Demonstrated ability to analyze clinical data and develop appropriate care plans. EPIC electronic health records experience required. Strong critical thinking, communication, and supervisory skills.
