Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with strong customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will contribute to a caring environment through teamwork, reliability, integrity, and an agile approach to daily security-related responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and public responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the medical location, including lobbies, hallways, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, support entry screening protocols as directed by the location, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and/or policy violations.
• Assist with de-escalation during tense interactions, provide directions and general assistance to the public, and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Must be able to assist with restraining individuals in a hospital setting.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
