Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Sr. Manufacturing Quality EngineerThe Sr. Manufacturing Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting the Quality and Operations Management System by leading root cause investigations, ensuring proper documentation, and submitting customer responses. They will collaborate across departments to maintain KPIs, interface with customers, and manage full lifecycle planning for new product launches. They will also analyze QC and test data to identify trends, publish reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives as well as provide guidance, coaching, and training on problem-solving programs and quality tools.This is an onsite role in our Irving TX facility with a schedule of Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm.What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?Validate processes, system integration, and testing methods (e.g., Gage R&R, TMV, Master Site Validation Matrix)Develop and review data analysis and trending reports to support decision-makingPerform value stream mapping, process mapping, and identify critical control pointsCollaborate with production teams to provide recommendations and share audit or investigation resultsAnalyze and implement manufacturing and business process improvements to enhance capability and performanceSupport manufacturing validation and conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)Apply DMAIC methodology and Statistical Process Control (SPC) for continuous improvement initiativesDeliver training on Quality tools and best practices to all personnelMap Quality process flows and identify opportunities for workflow optimizationLead CAPA and Continuous Improvement initiatives, utilizing Quality tools for root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actionsEnsure compliance with company policies, process standards, and maintain a positive work environmentPartner with management to establish departmental and organizational goals, leveraging experience and innovation to achieve resultsPrepare and utilize reports to track program metrics, completion rates, and performance indicatorsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety and environmental regulationsOptimize labor utilization and assist in developing staffing requirementsWhat are the requirements needed for this position?Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (or equivalent)Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with Quality programs, tools, and methodologiesProficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and Quality System Gap Analysis; certification in these areas is a plusStrong background in process, testing, and automation validationDemonstrated experience managing new product introductions and lifecycle quality planningFamiliarity with DMAIC methodology and Statistical Process Control (SPC) - Minitab experienceWhat other skills/experience would be helpful to have?Knowledge of ISO 9000 and/or QS 9000 standardsStrong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to large groupsSolid math and statistical analysis skills; statistics background is a plusDetail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, spreadsheets, databases, presentations) and data visualization toolsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organizationAbility to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced settingExperience identifying process and workflow improvementsDemonstrated multi-tasking ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyLeadership skills with the ability to train, influence, and drive results in a team settingPay Range:$88,000.00 - $147,000.00Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
