Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Smyrna, Tennessee.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: ASAP\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 4x10hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Sep 7, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN with 2+ years of cath lab experience for a community hospital setting in Smyrna, TN.Details\n \n Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a 115-bed hospital\n 1:1 patient ratios in the cath lab\n 3-person cath and call teams including 3 FT Techs and 2 FT RNs, with 5-6 staff per day\n Uses GE X-ray equipment and Alaris pumps\n Documentation via Merge Hemo and Meditech\n Schedule is 4x10hr shifts, M-F variable days from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM\n Call requirements include up to 8 weekday call days and up to 6 weekend call days per month\n RNs may float to cover Cardiology patients in Non-Invasive, CT, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine but not elsewhere in the hospital\n Requirements\n \n Active TN or compact RN license required\n RN licensure with ARRT or RCIS certification required\n Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required, including both diagnostic and PCI procedures\n Experience with cardiac monitoring, circulating, and RN sedation required\n Community hospital or mixed IR & Cath Lab setting experience preferred\n Advanced skills in IR, Specials, and vascular procedures needed\n Experience with procedures such as left and right heart caths, PCI (Type A, B1, some B2), Rotablator, CSI, Shockwave, Impella, Getinge IABP, Boston Polaris (FFR/IVUS), and Abbott Illumien FFR\n US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration\n No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months\n Additional Information\n \n Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced cardiac cath lab environment performing diagnostic and interventional procedures\n Work alongside a small, tenured team with highly involved leadership invested in departmental success\n Small hospital with a family-like culture\n Dress code: red top and bottom scrubs, or black top with red bottoms; ceil blue also acceptable\n Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-741449.
