Registered Nurse - Med Surg
Location: Asheville, NC
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg unit. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assessing patient conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, alerting charge RN or management of any changes.
- Utilize telemetry rhythm capabilities to track patient vitals.
- Assist with IV fluids, tube feeds, and medication administration.
- Participate in unit huddles and maintain communication with the healthcare team.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Telemetry experience and critical thinking abilities are a must.
