Project Manager

JOB PURPOSE:To manage the construction and delivery of residential homes that are built adhering to established plans, specifications, and quality standards at or below budgeted cost, on or prior to scheduled delivery dates, while maintaining a superior level of customer satisfaction.Duties and ResponsibilitiesManages construction in multiple home construction sites with 15-30 homes under constructionMaintain job site and model home safety and cleanlinessDevelop and communicate home construction schedule to sub-contractorsObtain all governmental and local jurisdiction required inspectionsProvide training to Superintendents to develop and foster career advancementDevelop accurate and timely settlement reportingReview and approve site area figuresEnsure that sub-contractor work quality and performance adhere to Company policiesEstablish and maintain construction site budgets; ensure budget complianceConduct pre-construction meeting with homeowners to review contract, options, schedule, etc.Develop and maintain positive relationship with Customer Service to resolve issuesEnsure that Superintendents attend weekly production meetingsConduct 90-day and annual reviews of Superintendents with Production ManagerOther duties as assignedKnowledge and SkillsAbility to work under pressure; organizedAbility to multitask; coordinate numerous activities and groups of peopleHighly motivated; ability to work with minimal supervisionStrong team player; works with diverse groups of peopleCommitment to customer service Ability to read and fully comprehend construction blueprints specifications and development plansAbility to coordinate performance action plansValid driver’s licenseEducation and Work Experience2-4 years experience in the construction industry as a project manager or superintendentHigh School graduate or GED equivalentPrior experience in supervising or assisting new home construction projects preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr DRB HOMES
