Position Description:
Financial Management Analyst - Navy ERP CGI is seeking Financial Managers to support high-visibility Department of the Navy financial management operations. This role supports Navy ERP execution, financial reconciliation, audit readiness, and senior-level reporting efforts across Secretariat and enterprise-level organizations. This role is open to Junior, Mid-level, and Senior candidates; level will be determined based on experience and qualifications. These positions are Hybrid in Washington, DC or Arlington, VA areas.
Your Future Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform financial management operations within Navy ERP, including commitments, obligations, expenditures, and adjustments. Conduct financial reconciliation and analysis to resolve unmatched transactions, execution discrepancies, and reporting inconsistencies. Support audit readiness initiatives and improve financial data integrity and materiality. Develop recurring and ad hoc reports using Navy ERP, Advana, and Jupiter to inform leadership decision-making. Analyze execution trends and provide risk assessments to improve funding alignment and budget performance. Support Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes as required. Coordinate with stakeholders across financial, contracting, and program offices to resolve execution issues. Utilize WAWF/PIEE, PBIS, and related financial systems to validate and reconcile financial data.
Required Qualifications to Be Successful in This Role:
Active DoD Secret Clearance Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field Experience in Department of Defense Financial Management; Department of the Navy experience strongly preferred Experienced with Navy ERP is required Working knowledge of DoD financial and accounting systems, with experience in some of the following: Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) Defense Travel System (DTS) Electronic Document Access (EDA) ADVANA SYNCADA One Touch / One Pay DAID CASDCBSCHOOSE Strong critical-thinking skills with the ability to drive improvements in financial performance, forecasting, and expectation management Substantial knowledge of DoD financial policies, principles, practices, regulatory guidance, systems, and compliance requirements Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
