Dearborn, Michigan Data Engineer #1061533 Employees in this job function are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data solutions including data infrastructure, pipelines, etc. for collecting, storing, processing and analyzing large volumes of data efficiently and accurately Job Description Employees in this job function are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data solutions including data infrastructure, pipelines, etc. for collecting, storing, processing and analyzing large volumes of data efficiently and accurately Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand current and future data requirements Design, build and maintain reliable, efficient and scalable data infrastructure for data collection, storage, transformation, and analysis Plan, design, build and maintain scalable data solutions including data pipelines, data models, and applications for efficient and reliable data workflow Design, implement and maintain existing and future data platforms like data warehouses, data lakes, data lakehouse etc. for structured and unstructured data Design and develop analytical tools, algorithms, and programs to support data engineering activities like writing scripts and automating tasks Ensure optimum performance and identify improvement opportunities Experience in Data ingestion for all types of data and data wrangling and transformations and land data in Big Query. Experience in Stored procs, triggers, data modelling, Qlik View and cloud function and data fusion, astronomer and air flow Skills Required Data/Analytics Data Warehousing Data Modeling Skills Preferred GCP Experience Required Engineer Exp: 4+ years Data Engineering work experience Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including cloud-native application development and deployment. Strong understanding of AI-assisted development tools, such as Gemini Code Assist, OpenCode, and GitHub Copilot, to improve developer productivity. Knowledge of Agentic AI concepts, including AI agents, autonomous workflows, multi-agent systems, and the use of large language models (LLMs) to automate software development and business processes. Experience integrating AI tools into the software development lifecycle, including code generation, debugging, testing, and documentation. Familiarity with cloud AI services on GCP, such as Vertex AI, Gemini models, and AI APIs, is a plus Experience Preferred Experience in GCP Cloud Services. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including cloud-native application development and deployment. Strong understanding of AI-assisted development tools, such as Gemini Code Assist, OpenCode, and GitHub Copilot, to improve developer productivity Education Required Master's Degree Bachelor's Degree Specifically looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including cloud‑native application development, deployment, and integration. Strong understanding of AI‑assisted development tools such as Gemini Code Assist, OpenCode, and GitHub Copilot to improve developer productivity and accelerate software delivery. Knowledge of Agentic AI concepts, including AI agents, autonomous workflows, multi‑agent systems, and the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate software development and business processes. Experience integrating AI capabilities into the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including code generation, debugging, testing, documentation, and developer workflow optimization. Familiarity with GCP AI services, including Vertex AI, Gemini models, and AI APIs, is highly preferred. Ability to evaluate and adopt emerging AI technologies to improve engineering efficiency and application development processes.
