Senior Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

Maryland / Virginia Base Salary: $150,000 - $250,000 + Commission + Bonus + Partnership Track

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a plaintiff-side personal injury caseload from intake through resolution.
• Develop and maintain referral relationships with attorneys, medical providers, and community partners.
• Generate new business and cultivate opportunities for continued practice growth.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial.
• Provide strategic counsel and exceptional client service throughout the life of each matter.
• Collaborate with firm leadership and support staff to maximize case outcomes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Active membership in the Maryland and/or Virginia Bar.
• Significant plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience.
• Proven annual fee production of $400,000+ .
• Portable book of business and established referral network.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and trial advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage matters while continuing to grow a successful practice.

Preferred Credentials

• History of notable jury verdicts and substantial settlements, including seven-figure recoveries.
• First-chair trial experience.
• Established relationships with referring attorneys, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
• Recognized reputation within the personal injury legal community.
• Demonstrated success developing and maintaining long-term client and referral relationships.
