Territory Manager, Diabetes (Syracuse, NY)

Overview MiniMed is seeking an experienced Territory Manager to drive business growth and support for Diabetes products and services in the Syracuse, New York Territory (Syracuse, Rome, Utica, Ithaca, Elmira, and surrounding areas). This field‑based position reports to the District Manager and is expected to be in the field five days per week. Responsibilities Promote, sell, and service MiniMed products to physicians, patients, and referral sources through sales calls and educational activities. Implement quarterly sales and market development plans to achieve targets and adapt strategies as needed. Collaborate with Clinical Territory Managers, Diabetes Clinical Educators, and cross‑functional teams to educate stakeholders on intensive diabetes management and continuous glucose monitoring. Provide product and therapy technical support to patients, including consultation at staff in‑services, physician seminars, and community organizations (ADA, AADE, JDRF, patient support groups). Build and maintain long‑term relationships with referral sources, healthcare professionals, and non‑clinical buyers to establish a strong business base. Manage territory expenses, inventory, and product returns, and coordinate daily customer support activities as assigned. Capture healthcare professional engagements via Salesforce in a timely and accurate manner. Complete administrative reporting, utilize approved sales collateral, and conduct market research on customers and competitors. Communicate customer feedback and product needs to internal stakeholders (R&D, Operations, Marketing). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of three (3) years prior sales experience. Field sales experience highly preferred. Prior medical device, business‑to‑business or pharmaceutical sales experience highly preferred. Experience using Salesforce. Prior inside sales or field clinical experience with MiniMed. Previous sales award recipient (e.g., President’s Club, Rookie of the Year). Strong data analysis, evaluation, and problem‑solving skills. Must have a valid driver’s license, active vehicle insurance, and be able to drive approximately 100% of the time within the assigned territory; overnight travel may be required. Location Syracuse, New York Territory (Syracuse, Rome, Utica, Ithaca, Elmira, and surrounding areas). Compensation Salary range: $58,000.00 – $98,000.00 USD. Eligible to participate in a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) – estimated total target compensation range: $140,000 – $180,000 USD.
