Acute inpatient psychiatry coverage with flexible scheduling options, including four-day workweeks. This assignment offers a structured inpatient setting with interdisciplinary support and an initial 3-month commitment with extension potential.

Practice & Cases

• Adult inpatient psychiatry population ages 18 and older
• Acute psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Mental status examinations and ongoing treatment assessments
• Interdisciplinary care model with nursing, social work, and clinical support teams

Schedule

• Monday through Friday coverage preferred
• Option for five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts
• Full-time schedule preferred, with 32-hour weeks considered
• Initial 3-month assignment with the option to extend

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Psychiatry
• Active North Carolina license required
• BLS certification and DEA registration required
