SQL developer/DataAnalyst Consultant

Overview Location: Miami, FL – Hybrid (3 days onsite) Duration: 12 months ongoing contract Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer/Data Analyst Consultant who will be primarily responsible for data analysis and SQL development within our database systems. The consultant will support database design, optimization, reporting, and data visualization while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and usability for business decisions. Responsibilities Database Design: Create, modify, and maintain schemas, tables, views, indexes, and relationships. Data Modeling: Develop and implement logical and physical data models. SQL Development: Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts. Data Manipulation: Perform data insertions, updates, deletions, and retrievals efficiently. Performance Tuning: Optimize SQL queries, indexes, and database performance. Data Analysis: Extract, transform, and analyze data for business insights. Develop SSRS reports (including parametrization and layout design). Build dashboards that integrate data from multiple sources (databases, spreadsheets, APIs). Required Skills & Qualifications Strong expertise in SQL programming (queries, procedures, functions). Proven experience with database design and data modeling. Hands-on experience with performance tuning and query optimization. Experience with data migration and deployments. Proficiency in SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) report development. Knowledge of data visualization and dashboard tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
