Staff Assistant Patient Placement Team Baystate Health is seeking a part-time Staff Assistant to support the Manager of Patient Placement at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys providing administrative support and working collaboratively with leaders and staff across a healthcare organization. Key Responsibilities: Prepare reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other administrative materials Manage calendars, meetings, appointments, and department communications Receive and respond to telephone calls, visitors, and routine inquiries Maintain department records, files, and administrative systems Assist with department budgets, purchasing, invoices, and expenses Collaborate professionally with hospital leadership, medical staff, and colleagues Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of office or medical practice experience Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets Schedule & Location: Part-time, 24 hours per week MondayFriday, business hours Approximately 8:00 AM2:00 PM or 9:00 AM3:00 PM, with some flexibility Baystate Medical Center | Springfield, MA We strive to be the place where we can help you build the career you deserve apply today YOU belong at Baystate! Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
