Job Description Job Description Industrial Painter Job Summary: Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is partnering with a well-regarded client in Romulus, Michigan, a leader in Modular Home Manufacturing, who is looking for an experienced (3-5 years) Industrial Painter. Pay: $20-21/hour, based on experience 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 7am-5:30pm, with occasional overtime as needed. Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities:? Collaborates with employees concerning work orders, prints, and sketches to understand the structure that needs to be built or repaired.? Estimates equipment, tool, and material requirements for each job.? Operates all necessary tools to complete a job.? Prepares and dismantles scaffolding as needed.? Ensures tools and equipment are properly cleaned, stored, and maintained for optimum performance and safety.? Uses various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects.? Joins materials with the most appropriate nail, screw, staple, or adhesive.? Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares; corrects problems as needed.? Adheres to local building and safety codes and guidelines.? Measures, marks, and arranges materials to established layout based on blueprints or instructions from supervisors.? Regular and predictable attendance within. Other duties as assigned by Management.? Painter?Qualifications:? Education: High School Diploma or related field preferred.? Experience: Three years’ experience in the building trades field, previous experience working with diverse populations preferred. Previous background in production a plus.? Certificates & Licenses: None.? Other Requirements: Strong stakeholder service skills. Exceptional dedication to dependability and punctuality. Strong work ethic. Ability to engage a team toward a common mission. Additional abilities required:? Ability to understand directions and read blueprints.? Ability to solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately.? Ability to properly care for and use tools of the trade.? Ability to read, write and use micrometers, calipers, tape measures and other related measurement equipment required.? Ability to perform basic arithmetic.?
