Industrial Maintenance Technician – 2nd & 3rd Shift
Our client, a well-established manufacturer in the Lansing, MI area , is seeking Industrial Maintenance Technicians for direct-hire opportunities on 2nd and 3rd shift.
Pay: $28-$35+/hr, based on experience. Strong electrical candidates may be considered above the posted range.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting experience
- Hands-on mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and machine schematics
- Industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Willingness to work regular overtime, including some weekends
- PLC knowledge is a plus, but not required
- Automotive or high-volume manufacturing experience is a plus
- Technical degree or training preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
What You'll Do:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical production equipment
- Diagnose equipment failures and minimize downtime
- Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
- Read machine schematics, electrical diagrams, and parts breakdowns
- Repair and replace equipment components
- Perform basic welding and fabrication as needed
- Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement
