Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical department is responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a diverse population across all age groups. The role requires experience in MedSurg nursing and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and practice guidelines.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess patient conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Participate in patient education and needs assessment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of MedSurg experience.
• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Meditech EHR is preferred.
