Our capabilities span working capital, C&I, SBA, asset-based lending (ABL), factoring, equipment finance, lines of credit, term loans, unsecured financing, acquisition financing, and private credit.

What You'll Do \n

\n
• Build relationships with business owners, CEOs, CFOs, entrepreneurs, investors, and other key decision-makers.
\n
• Identify and originate debt financing opportunities for established operating companies.
\n
• Understand each client's business, capital needs, timing, and objectives.
\n
• Prospect, secure meetings, and create new financing opportunities.
\n
• Develop relationships with bankers, private equity firms, M&A professionals, CPAs, attorneys, advisors, and other referral sources.
\n
• Bring qualified opportunities to The Lanam Group and work with our team through evaluation and execution.
\n
• Maintain an active pipeline and develop relationships that generate repeat business.
\n

The strongest opportunities often have a catalyst, including an acquisition, expansion, large purchase order, equipment need, working capital constraint, delayed receivables, extended customer payment terms, refinancing, recapitalization, growth initiative, or another event creating an immediate need for capital.

\n

What We're Looking For \n

\n
• 5+ years of experience in commercial banking, private credit, specialty finance, M&A, private equity, underwriting, portfolio management, commercial finance, or originations.
\n
• Strong understanding of businesses, credit, transactions, and capital structures.
\n
• Existing relationships with business owners, executives, investors, financial professionals, or industry referral sources.
\n
• Ability to recognize meaningful capital needs and identify actionable financing opportunities.
\n
• Confidence communicating with CEOs, CFOs, business owners, investors, and sophisticated financial professionals.
\n
• Strong commercial judgment, responsiveness, and follow-through.
\n
• Comfortable networking, developing relationships, and creating new opportunities.
\n
• Interest in building a book of business and participating directly in the value created from originated transactions.

A traditional originations background is not required. Professionals who have spent their careers underwriting, structuring, approving, managing, advising on, or referring transactions may already have the experience and relationships needed to succeed in this role.

Compensation \n

The Lanam Group offers a competitive, production-oriented compensation structure with significant upside tied to originated and funded business.
