This professional nursing role will require the ability to coordinate care for patients, triage patients, and work collaboratively with clinic providers, fellows, and staff. Will analyze more complex and ongoing patient assessments and data to identify patient needs. The RN will assist individual patients, their families, and providers in developing the plan of care to meet patients', their families', and practitioners' needs by prioritizing multiple nursing diagnoses and collaborative medical problems in to the POC.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associates Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors in Nursing, or Master's in NursingValid RN LicenseMinimum of 1 year Registered Nursing experience.Responsibilities:Collects and documents assessment data from patients and/or others per UAMS standard.Develops patient's Plan of Care (POC) per department/unit standards utilizing assessment data.Evaluates the progress of patients toward attainment of desired outcomes.Administers medication following department/unit standards and Nurse Practice Act.Verifies and evaluates care delivered to ensure it is consistent with patient and family centered care principles, practice standards and regulatory requirements.Supports the integration of current evidence into nursing practices.Promotes an environment conducive to positive educational experience for all students and staff.Provides effective patient/family education/discharge planning.Effectively collaborates and communicates with nursing staff at all levels, interdisciplinary teams, executive leaders, and other stakeholders.Communicates care appropriately through documentation in the medical record.Reports variances in care/ systems/ processes through the appropriate means.Participates in recruitment/retention of staff.Facilitates development and implementation of nursing practice standards that are evidence-based and in compliance with ANA standards.May perform other duties as assigned.Salary Information: commensurate with education and experienceRequired Documents to Apply: License or Certificate (see special instructions for submission instructions), List of three Professional References (name, email, business title), ResumeOptional Documents: Proof of Veteran StatusSpecial Instructions to Applicants:Recruitment Contact Information: Please contact View email address on click.appcast.io for any recruiting related questions.All application materials must be uploaded to the University of Arkansas System Career Site do not send to listed recruitment contact.Pre-employment Screening Requirements:Annual TB Screening, Criminal Background Check, Substance Abuse TestingThis position is subject to pre-employment screening (criminal background, drug testing, and/or education verification).
