Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - General

Night shifts, 3x12-hour (18:00 - 06:30). Weekend shifts required every other week.

Assignment Details

Contract length is a minimum of 10 weeks with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. The facility may call off staff up to 3 times throughout the assignment.

Requirements

• New Mexico EMS License or Provisional License
• NREMT Certification
• BLS Certification
• EMT, EMT-B Certification
• Experience preferred, but first-timers are not accepted
• No locals within 100 miles
• COVID vaccine is optional; documentation or declination required

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients
• Administer CPR and use AEDs
• Monitor vital signs and manage airway
• Transport patients safely
• Apply restraints as needed
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately
