Junior Accountant

Please note that this job is HYBRID. You will be required to work onsite on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You may work from home the rest of the week using company-provided equipment. LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading retail company to fill their open Junior Accountant job in Centennial, CO. To qualify, you must have at least 2 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role. This is a TEMPORARY job opportunity that is expected to last at least 3 months. Depending on your performance and our client's staffing needs, this role may get extended and/or be converted to a permanent position in the company. You will earn between $28.00 and $33.00 per hour in this role. You will also be eligible to sign up for LHH's benefits programs (details below). Responsibilities: Assisting with processing AP and AR Communicating with customers: sending payment reminders, following up on collections Reconciling bank accounts Preparing sales tax returns Assisting with month end close processes All other related tasks as required Qualifications: At least two years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a similar role preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent analytical skills Excellent organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Proficiency with AS400 or similar accounting software preferred Compensation: Hourly rate between $28.00 and $33.00 LHH benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
