Why This Job – FINANCIAL REPORTING ACCOUNTANT: As the Financial Reporting Accountant, you will play a hands-on role in assisting with SEC filings, month-end general ledger closures, and complex accounting events. What You'll Actually Do: Assist with SEC Filings: Prepare and support Form 10-Q and 10-K filings, including earnings releases, executive summaries, call scripts, and tie-out binders. Support Ledger & Month-End Close: Handle general ledger activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analyses for debt, goodwill, intangibles, equity, and stock compensation. Research Technical Accounting: Research evolving US GAAP guidance, ensure compliance, and prepare supporting documentation for complex transactions and M&A integrations. Optimize Processes & Controls: Maintain reporting procedures for internal control compliance and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate & Audit: Work directly with internal and external auditors during interim reviews and annual audits, while tackling ad-hoc executive projects. To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need: Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA designation or in process is a plus. Experience: 1–2 years of public accounting experience with heavy SEC exposure, OR 2–3 years of direct SEC financial reporting experience. Technical Chops: Expertise in US GAAP and SEC rules, paired with the ability to research complex accounting issues and work independently with minimal supervision. System Savvy: Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required; experience with ERP systems is a plus. Communication & Drive: A self-starter mindset with strong organizational skills and effective communication to deliver precise financial analyses. Where and How Much: Target Compensation: $75K to $80K Office Structure: Flexible hybrid schedule. On average in office 2 days a week.
