Key Qualifications:

Valid School Psychologist certification required
Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or a related field
Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and collaborate with educators and families
Familiarity with IEP processes and state/federal educational regulations

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students in grades 9-12
Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective interventions and supports
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
Monitor student progress and adjust support plans accordingly
Maintain detailed and confidential student records in compliance with district and legal guidelines
