Now Hiring: Municipal Attorney (Transactional Focus) Austin, TX (Hybrid)

I’m currently partnering with a well-established law firm seeking a Municipal Attorney to join its Austin office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to work closely with municipalities on high-impact transactional matters involving growth, infrastructure, and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise cities on a wide range of municipal law matters, including land use, development, procurement, open meetings/records, and ordinances
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements (real estate transactions, development agreements, tax abatements, economic incentives, utilities, etc.)
• Support municipalities with annexations, ETJ matters, and subdivision regulations
• Collaborate with developers, engineers, and local governments on new development projects
• Conduct legal research and assist with agenda review in compliance with local/state regulations

What They’re Looking For

• Licensed and in good standing in Texas
• Minimum 2+ years of municipal law experience
• Experience with land use, zoning, annexation, or planning strongly preferred

Role Highlights

• Estimated base salary: $120K–$140K
• 1800 billable hour requirement
• Hybrid schedule
