DevOps Engineer
Kroger Application Platform (KAP) is an initiative to develop common development toolset/framework for an application team to quickly get started on their Cloud journey. As part of KAP Data track, we are looking for DevOps engineers to help us with automating and building scripts to provision infrastructure for Azure data platform services.
What are the top 3 “must have” skills that these candidates need to have to be considered?
- At least one configuration deployment tool (Terraform, Ansible or Chef)
- Experience architecting cloud native CI/CD workflows and tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, or GitLab)
- Experience with any Cloud data platforms deployment
- 7+ years of professional experience
- 3+ years of Terraform and Azure Automation experience
- Experience managing and provisioning Infrastructure as code components in Cloud
- Hands-on experience of programming in languages such as Python, bash, go etc.
- Experience architecting cloud native CI/CD workflows and tools, such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, or GitLab
- Hands-on experience designing & deploying Highly available Azure Cloud data platforms.
- Experience deploying incremental changes and manage production deployment pipelines.
