Managing Director Location: Fully Remote (WeWork access included) Compensation: $150K–$200K annually, based on experience + Commissions + Bonus About the Opportunity A dynamic, independent marketing and communications firm is seeking a Managing Director to oversee and expand its new business initiatives. Known for innovation and impact in finance, tech, and real estate sectors, the firm offers results-driven strategies across public relations, content, digital, and social media. What You’ll Do As the firm’s chief growth architect , your responsibilities will include: Designing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy. Managing inbound interest and proactively sourcing new opportunities. Representing the firm at major industry events. Building strategic partnerships and enhancing market positioning. Collaborating with leadership to refine proposals and close high-value deals. Supporting organic growth within existing accounts. Overseeing CRM hygiene, reporting, and pipeline forecasting. What You Bring We’re looking for a seasoned business development executive with: 15+ years of experience in generating new business within communications/PR, preferably in an agency setting. A proven track record of originating client relationships, driving revenue, and closing complex deals. Deep familiarity with PR services (media relations, content, social, awards). A strong network and expertise in finance, fintech, and insurtech sectors. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. Why This Role?
