Facilities Maintenance CoordinatorPA Worcester - Worcester, PA 19490OverviewSalary Range $29.00 - $34.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day Education Level High School Category WarehouseDescriptionSummary / Position Purpose:The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for daily facility operations, maintenance activities, vendor services, and workplace support functions to ensure safe, efficient, and well maintained facilities. This role leads operational continuity by managing work orders, coordinating & leading facility projects, maintaining compliance records, and building operations across company locations. The Facilities Operations Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for facility related needs and operational support. This role is focused on coordinating maintenance activities, vendor relationships, and facility operations, not performing licensed HVAC or electrical work.Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:FacilitiesCoordinate & leads day to day facility operations and maintenance activitiesMonitor building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and security systemsRespond to facility requests and ensure timely issue resolutionAssist with office setups, moves, and workspace organizationMaintenance & Vendor ManagementCoordinate preventive maintenance schedules and repair servicesManage work orders and track maintenance activitiesCommunicate with vendors, contractors, and service providers regarding facility needsMonitor vendor performance and ensure services are completed according to company standardsSafety & ComplianceSupport compliance with OSHA regulations, safety standards, and company policiesLead facility inspections, safety audits, and emergency preparedness activitiesMaintain facility records, maintenance logs, and compliance documentationReport safety concerns and coordinate corrective actions as neededOperational SupportMaintain inventory of facility supplies, equipment, and operational materialsAssist with budgeting, invoice processing, and expense tracking related to facilities operationsPrepare operational reports and maintain facility related documentationProject CoordinationFacility improvement projects, renovations, and equipment installationsCoordinate schedules and communication between departments and contractorsTrack project timelines and support successful project completionWork EnvironmentCombination of office and on-site facility supportMay require walking throughout facilities and occasional lifting of office or facility suppliesOccasional after-hours support may be required for operational or emergency situationsQualificationsEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:High school diploma or GED requiredTechnical certification or college degree preferredValid driver's license required, forklift certification preferred2 years of facilities coordination/management, building operations, maintenance in a manufacturing or distribution environmentExperience coordinating vendors, maintenance activities, or workplace operationsKnowledge of OSHA and workplace safety standardsProficiency in Microsoft Office and facilities management or work order systemsAbility to work independently with limited supervisionProject coordination or operational support experience preferredStrong organizational, multitasking abilities and excellent communicationStrong problem-solving and follow-up capabilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPhysical Requirements:Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standardsAbility to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standardsThis position requires applicants to be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship; TestEquity does not sponsor applicants for work visas.TestEquity provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.
